• Act as a team leader and interface with peers to ensure the cable investment portfolio align with the performance target
• Source and prepare market analysis for new subsea cable planning and investment
• Negotiate the terms and conditions with submarine cable providers on agreements, contracts and order forms
• Prepare business cases and profitability analysis for management approval on capacity investment, upgrade and expansion projects
• Prepare regular Capex / Opex budget and usage forecast according to the inventory status.
• Analyze the revenue and costing to prepare for on-going forecast and AOP
• Provide regular and ad-hoc KPI performance reports to Finance and Management
• Track and proactively monitor the inventory utilization and its trend, and initiate capacity upgrade to maintain the capacity threshold
• Manage cable portfolio and maintain accurate inventory of PCCWG’s all submarine capacity including subsea and terrestrial cable systems with more than 50 cable systems
• Provide regular update and briefing on the available, planned new capacity and new cable systems to the Sales, Presales and internal teams
• Interface with Cable Planning and Transmission Engineering teams to ensure the accuracy of the lit up capacity and associated costing for the own cable investment

DevOps Engineer

• Assist in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of OpenShift and GKE (Anthos) clusters running on local hardware.
• Use Helm, Terraform and GitOps to deploy applications across on-prem environments.
• Configure and manage Prometheus, FluentD, and Grafana to maintain visibility into system health.
• Support the performance and availability of Apache Druid, MySQL and PostgreSQL for data processing.
• Troubleshoot local DNS, routing, and connectivity issues between geographically dispersed clusters.

• Provide risk stewardship and control oversight of technology, cybersecurity and operational risk management framework and controls
• Review and challenge stakeholders on the technology risk assessments and operational resilience
• Partner and advise business on new product change management and control design
• Act as the technology risk management subject-matter expert on HKMA Cyber Resilience Assessment Framework
• Provide risk stewardship advisory over technology, virtual asset and payment security risk management
• Prepare independent technology, operational, cybersecurity, and virtual asset risk management reports
