Design and implement scalable, reliable data architectures (data warehouse, data lake/lakehouse, hybrid) and data models
Drive data best practices, patterns, and governance
Improve data pipelines, orchestration, and tooling
Work with product, engineering, and business leaders to make data accessible for AI/ML, analytics
Guide and mentor other data engineers; contribute to hiring, leveling, and technical development of the data engineering function.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
Strong grasp of concepts and methods for capturing, transforming, testing, and storing data assets in a cloud-native environment
Experience solving complex data problems using SQL and Python
Experience designing and evolving data models
Prior experience in healthcare or FinTech, and familiarity with HIPAA, PHI, or financial data compliance and security practices, is a plus.
