About the role

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with high-value merchants.
  • Develop a pipeline of potential partners in the eCommerce ecosystem and related tech sectors.
  • Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with PayU’s strategic goals.
  • Monitor partnership health and deliver regular performance reports.
  • Collaborate internally to align partnership initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Product, Operations) to deliver optimal client outcomes.
  • Resolve client issues promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or strategic alliance roles, preferably within fintech, eCommerce, payment solutions, or tech platforms.
  • Proven track record in negotiating and closing partnership agreements.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, web development studios, and online marketplaces.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects across regions in a target-driven environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and project management platforms.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and leverage insights for strategic growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of emerging payment technologies, APIs, and platform integrations.
