About the role
- Define and execute Payset's long-term R&D strategy, driving the development of cutting-edge solutions for our global business clients.
- Assess talent, identify skill gaps, and orchestrate a recruitment, development, and performance optimization program.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing R&D culture that thrives on innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Champion agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and best practices to ensure efficient and high-quality software development.
- Partner with product, marketing, and operations to ensure R&D efforts are well-aligned with overall business objectives.
- Oversee project management, resource allocation, and budget control to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Identify and implement new technologies and methodologies to keep Payset at the forefront of the FinTech industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record R&D leadership of at least 12 years of leading and scaling engineers in software products
- Extensive experience in managing teams and strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic R&D roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for FinTech and a desire to disrupt the traditional financial landscape.
