About the role

  • Identify, target, and onboard new Payment Facilitators, Merchant of Record models, Aggregators, Digital Wallet Providers.
  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships at C-suite and operational levels.
  • Own the full sales process from lead generation to contract signature.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the payments ecosystem and trends.
  • Maintain accurate CRM reporting and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across product, legal, risk, onboarding, and marketing.

Requirements

  • Educational degree in related field such as Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of new business sales experience in payments, ideally within a payment processor, acquirer, or related B2B payments environment.
  • Deep understanding of complex business models, especially Payment Facilitators and Merchant of Record models.
  • Strong strategic sales mentality, with proven ability to run structured, insight-led sales cycles.
  • Excellent internal stakeholder management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, especially for in-person meetings and proposal writing.
  • Ability to understand complex technical and commercial requirements and provide recommendations.
  • Proven success in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
