About the role
- Drive revenue growth and global market expansion by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities
- Lead the negotiation with external partners and engage cross-functional support colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of solutions for large complex partnerships
- Develop and execute an overall business strategy to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities to drive revenue growth and global market expansion
- Influence the negotiation with external partners, engaging cross-functional support colleagues, to ensure successful delivery of solutions for large complex partnerships
- Align product and business levers (such as pricing and FX) to maximize revenue and market expansion opportunities
- Engage closely with product, engineering, and architecture teams to drive the architectural runway and determine the best technical implementation/design
- Represent the end customer on an ongoing basis and use this knowledge to drive effective prioritization and decision-making
Requirements
- 12+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in credit administration, commercial lending, and portfolio management within the banking sector, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or executive credit management role.
- Community banking experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring credit policies and procedures, including risk grading, underwriting standards, and loan review
- Advanced knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment, loan structuring, and financial statement interpretation
- Expertise in credit risk management, portfolio stress testing, risk rating systems, and allowance for ACL methodologies
- Proficient with credit administration systems, loan origination platforms, and core banking software; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools
- Strong ability to prepare, interpret, and present complex credit and risk management reports for executive management, Board committees, and regulators
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex credit and risk information clearly to the Board of Directors, executive management, regulators, and staff
- Unquestionable integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality
- Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field. MBA preferred.
- Credit Risk Certification (CRC), Certified Lender Business Banker (CLBB), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar credentials are advantageous
