About the role

  • Maintain visibility of new business relationships and opportunities
  • Find and develop new clients for Paymentology products
  • Develop strategies for identifying and pursuing new business prospects
  • Work closely with the Regional Director to target key markets and prospects
  • Develop an annual sales pipeline with prospects and targets
  • Accurately report on the sales pipeline on an ongoing basis
  • Diagnose prospect needs and advise on appropriate product or service solutions
  • Own the entire sales process from initial contact to contract signing
  • Nurture and manage regional pipeline opportunities to achieve sales targets
  • Manage complex commercial negotiations
  • Collaborate with legal counsel and finance teams as needed
  • Take responsibility for sales tasks including client contract signature
  • Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Grow Paymentology’s customer base in the region

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of business development experience in the fintech or payments space
  • Experience in solution sales and managing complex sales processes
  • Knowledge of the cards and payments industry, particularly issuing
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to understand the complexities of the payments market
  • Time management and multitasking skills across markets and time zones
  • Self-starter able to define priorities and deliver results
  • Ability to qualify leads and identify key decision-makers
  • Ability to work effectively with senior-level internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial modelling skills
  • Resilient mindset with the ability to work under pressure and focus on outcomes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
