About the role
- Maintain visibility of new business relationships and opportunities
- Find and develop new clients for Paymentology products
- Develop strategies for identifying and pursuing new business prospects
- Work closely with the Regional Director to target key markets and prospects
- Develop an annual sales pipeline with prospects and targets
- Accurately report on the sales pipeline on an ongoing basis
- Diagnose prospect needs and advise on appropriate product or service solutions
- Own the entire sales process from initial contact to contract signing
- Nurture and manage regional pipeline opportunities to achieve sales targets
- Manage complex commercial negotiations
- Collaborate with legal counsel and finance teams as needed
- Take responsibility for sales tasks including client contract signature
- Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Grow Paymentology’s customer base in the region
Requirements
- 5-7 years of business development experience in the fintech or payments space
- Experience in solution sales and managing complex sales processes
- Knowledge of the cards and payments industry, particularly issuing
- Detail-oriented with an ability to understand the complexities of the payments market
- Time management and multitasking skills across markets and time zones
- Self-starter able to define priorities and deliver results
- Ability to qualify leads and identify key decision-makers
- Ability to work effectively with senior-level internal and external stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and financial modelling skills
- Resilient mindset with the ability to work under pressure and focus on outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
