About the role
- Validate requirements and perform analysis and design for system improvements
- Lead work and provide guidance to others in the department
- Own and optimize the Salesforce DevOps lifecycle, including automated deployments, version control, and release management
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Gearset and other DevOps tools
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers, architects, and business stakeholders
- Establish best practices for source-driven development, branching strategies, and environment management
- Monitor and improve deployment processes to reduce risk and downtime
- Drive innovation by evaluating new Salesforce DevOps tools and methodologies
- Configure and maintain Gearset for automated deployments
- Integrate Salesforce with Git-based version control systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components)
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipeline design
- Deep expertise in Gearset for deployment automation and monitoring
- Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies
- Experience with Salesforce metadata management and source-driven development
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative SDLC environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work across multiple teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
