About the role

  • Develop and execute social media strategies that align with business objectives
  • Manage and update content calendars to ensure consistent posting across all social media platforms
  • Monitor trends and adjust strategies to increase engagement and reach
  • Manage relationships with vendors (photographers, videographers, etc.) and outside agencies to ensure quality content is being generated
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms
  • Design and edit social media graphics, short videos, and other visual content to support brand messaging
  • Write compelling captions, hashtags, and calls to action to encourage interaction
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner
  • Engage with followers, industry leaders, and partners to foster relationships and brand loyalty
  • Identify opportunities for user-generated content and brand advocacy
  • Manage online reviews, encouraging satisfied customers to leave positive feedback on Google, Facebook, and other platforms
  • Track key social media metrics, analyze data, and provide insights to optimize content performance
  • Prepare regular reports on engagement, follower growth, and campaign success
  • Work closely with regional marketing managers and sales teams to create social media campaigns that support lead generation efforts
  • Align social media messaging with overall marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns
  • Coordinate with the creative team to develop high-quality visuals and multimedia content
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices
  • Identify new opportunities for engagement and content innovation
  • Experiment with emerging social media features and formats to keep content fresh and engaging

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to multitask
  • Experience in the construction, paving, or B2B industry is a plus.
