About the role
- Develop and execute social media strategies that align with business objectives
- Manage and update content calendars to ensure consistent posting across all social media platforms
- Monitor trends and adjust strategies to increase engagement and reach
- Manage relationships with vendors (photographers, videographers, etc.) and outside agencies to ensure quality content is being generated
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms
- Design and edit social media graphics, short videos, and other visual content to support brand messaging
- Write compelling captions, hashtags, and calls to action to encourage interaction
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner
- Engage with followers, industry leaders, and partners to foster relationships and brand loyalty
- Identify opportunities for user-generated content and brand advocacy
- Manage online reviews, encouraging satisfied customers to leave positive feedback on Google, Facebook, and other platforms
- Track key social media metrics, analyze data, and provide insights to optimize content performance
- Prepare regular reports on engagement, follower growth, and campaign success
- Work closely with regional marketing managers and sales teams to create social media campaigns that support lead generation efforts
- Align social media messaging with overall marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns
- Coordinate with the creative team to develop high-quality visuals and multimedia content
- Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices
- Identify new opportunities for engagement and content innovation
- Experiment with emerging social media features and formats to keep content fresh and engaging
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Proficiency in social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to multitask
- Experience in the construction, paving, or B2B industry is a plus.
