About the role
- Prepare financial statements, analysis, and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the monthly close process to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and analyze various balance sheet reconciliations including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accounts receivable, notes receivable, accounts payable, and accrued liabilities.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Three plus years of hands-on financial accounting experience
- Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and banking working knowledge
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel with experience in Pivot Tables and VLookups
- Experience with accounting software (Sage preferred)
