Own and evolve the enterprise semantic model / ontology across core Parts Town domains (Customer, Part, Inventory, Order, Pricing, Supplier, Warehouse)
Define canonical business objects, relationships, hierarchies, and metrics that are platform-agnostic by design
Partner closely with Business Process Owners, Product Owners, and domain leaders to capture real operational logic and prioritize semantic evolution
Establish and run lightweight governance for semantic changes (definitions, versioning, impact analysis, documentation)
Enable analytics, applications, and AI/agentic use cases using shared, trusted business objects
Act as the senior semantic authority, advising Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI teams on correct use of enterprise definitions.

Requirements

8+ years in data architecture, semantic modeling, or enterprise analytics architecture roles
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data or semantic models
Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data platforms
Hands-on experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses
Experience with knowledge graphs, graph databases, or semantic technologies (RDF, OWL, graph models)
Experience supporting AI/ML or agentic decisioning use cases.
