About the role

  • Conduct overview and analysis of commercial and financial data of acquisition targets.
  • Formulate and present the assessment of the acquisition targets’ initial fit.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and recognize new acquisition opportunities.
  • Identify software businesses that meet our acquisition criteria/metrics and move opportunities through the deal cycle.
  • Support the M&A team with various ad hoc tasks related to the closing of live deals.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams for data requests, information sharing, project team meetings and deal execution.

Requirements

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Transaction Advisory/Consulting is a must
  • Demonstrated strong academic performance at a top-tier institution
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field; CPA or CFA track is a significant plus
  • Maturity and presence to interact with C-level executives
  • Self-starter with strong sales and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and Excel skill with attention to detail
