About the role

Design, deploy, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure and services to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
Configure and optimize networking services including VPCs, security groups, subnets, and routing.
Implement and maintain compute, storage, and serverless services following security and performance best practices.
Monitor and troubleshoot system issues using logs, monitoring tools, and incident management processes.
Automate workflows and develop tools to improve deployment efficiency, infrastructure monitoring, and performance optimization.
Write and optimize SQL queries and develop Python scripts to improve system performance.
Ensure systems comply with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements for data security and privacy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical solutions and document infrastructure processes and best practices.

6+ years of experience in DevOps, deploying and maintaining solutions in cloud environments
Strong experience with AWS (compute, storage, serverless services, networking like VPCs, subnets, and security groups)
Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS
Experience with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD and GitHub Actions
Deep understanding of networking configuration (VPCs, subnets, security groups, routing)
Proficient in Python and SQL (scripting and querying)
Strong version control experience with Git
Familiarity with monitoring tools, incident management, and troubleshooting practices
Understanding of cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance requirements
Focus on clear, effective documentation of technical work
Ability to deliver and own quality outputs under time pressure; results-oriented and team-focused
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Work authorization to be hired by Parser in UK, Spain, or Portugal without a sponsor
Willingness/ability to travel (Spain/Portugal candidates: one 3-day trip per month to UK client site)
