About the role
- Maintain contact with clients from assignment through settlement.
- Develop and revise appropriate legal strategies for discovery, investigation, mediation, handling and trial/hearing of cases; represent clients in court and/or agencies
- Research applicable legal remedies for cases or clients
- Submit necessary and appropriate documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions and/or settlement negotiations as required.
- Conduct appropriate discovery, hearings, trials depositions, oral arguments, mediations, and/or other legal proceedings relevant to personal injury.
- Meet with and/or communicate with clients ensuring proper communication and understanding of case proceedings throughout the case.
- Negotiate case settlement’s as appropriate
- Provide direction to Personal Injury Team Lead and Case Managers as it pertains to cases assigned.
- Act as a team member of the attorney team, personal injury case manager team, and other respective firm team’s.
- Perform administrative functions related to the practice of the law and firm
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Meet expectations of GRACES protocol at all time to ensure client satisfaction with services rendered by the firm.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- J.D. Degree
- Previous trial experience is preferred
