About the role

  • Provide technical guidance to a Scrum team developing our Finance software products using agile methodologies
  • Design and build highly available, secure, and scalable services
  • Collaborate with other tech leads and architects to design world-class software solutions
  • Be an SME for various technical domains
  • Take ownership of the code base you work on
  • Mentoring team members to help build the best teams
  • Acquire a comprehensive domain knowledge of our products and business
  • Ensure code test coverage
  • You will be involved in projects from their inception through to delivery. Working with Agile tools, techniques, and best practices like the Three Amigos to improve our products, focussing on delivering high business value features first.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience building web applications and systems using the Microsoft .Net platform
  • Including Angular web apps, Rest API, Services and SQL databases
  • Frontend: ASP.NET Core MVC, Bootstrap, jQuery
  • Backend: .NET 8 LTS, RESTful APIs
  • Database: SQL Server, Entity Framework Core
  • SDLC - Requirements Gathering, Software Design, Development and QA Testing, CI/CD pipelines
  • Agile development environment using Scrum
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver high quality software
  • Experience of a high-throughput, high-availability, software systems with a large user base
  • Ideally
  • Experience working in a Product-led development environment
  • Experience of product discovery methods
  • Experience in the EdTech industry
