Auditor

• Perform complex workers’ compensation and general liability audits by examining financial records and business operations.
• Document audit findings, calculate risk exposures, and ensure audits comply with rating bureau rules and state law.
• Engage with policyholders to review payroll registers, ledgers, wage reports, financial statements and other relevant documents.
• Analyze business operations to determine appropriate risk classifications.
• Maintain a record of all communications in the electronic audit inventory system.
• Proactively engage with policyholders and agents to explain rules and regulations impacting premium basis.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from agents, insureds, and internal customers regarding audit compliance and procedures.
• Stay informed of changes via WCIRB, NCCI, and other industry resources.
• Utilize laptop and peripheral technology to organize, schedule and complete audits.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
