About the role
- Provide administrative support for the organization’s hiring, onboarding, and regulatory compliance processes.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, manage pre-employment documentation, support client records requests.
- Monitor workforce compliance standards and assist with staff timesheet oversight.
- Post job openings on internal and external job boards.
- Conduct initial screening interviews and maintain ATS records.
- Support implementation of background screening requirements.
- Prepare and distribute offer letters and pre-employment documentation.
- Verify and complete Form I-9 in compliance with federal immigration law.
- Maintain personnel files in accordance with Colorado labor law.
- Support new hire onboarding logistics and coordination of required trainings.
- Verify authorizations and process client records requests in compliance with HIPAA.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of administrative, HR, healthcare, or compliance-related experience.
- Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or human services preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Must reside in or near the posting location.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of compliance regulations and BHA rule.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace.
- Ability to learn applicant tracking systems and electronic health record systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and general healthcare compliance standards.
- Basic understanding of Colorado employment law and Medicaid workforce requirements preferred.
