Act as a strategic Account Executive advising customers throughout packaging projects, turning packaging visions into reality and building long-term relationships.
Build specialty packaging market share with consumer product companies in primarily the Food, Personal Care, and Home Care market segments.
Develop a sufficient number of high potential prospects to generate long-term sales growth.
Sell and promote packaging products and value-added services to meet or exceed short-term and long-term goals.
Demonstrate business and financial acumen to execute packaging sales strategies and generate profitability.
Actively leverage sales CRM technology and tools to meet strategic account planning objectives and maximize customer and segment growth potential.
Collaborate with Finance, Customer Service and Sales Support to provide customer proposals and quotations focused on generating business and market growth.
Plan, coordinate and conduct sales presentations independently and collaboratively with Technical, Product Development and Management teams.
Create annual forecast for assigned accounts and partner with management on account strategies and month end financial presentations.
Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving business unit financial performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3+ years of successful sales experience, or compensatory work experience in a Sales, Technical, Supply Chain or Customer Service function, ideally in the consumer products packaging industry.
Proven success in folding carton sales, with knowledge of flexo and offset printing, die-cutting, and folder gluers.
Strong communication and relationship building skills to engage effectively with clients and cross-functional team members.
Self-motivated and results driven, with a passion for problem-solving and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to manage accounts independently, prioritize tasks, and perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.
