About the role

  • Supports the finance team by assisting in the preparation of financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and performing data entry tasks.
  • Applies a foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Contributes to the overall efficiency of the accounting department while gaining hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Collaborates with experienced professionals to support the organization's financial objectives and ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
  • Assists in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepares the reconciliations of accounts and transactions to identify discrepancies and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Prepares financial data and reports to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Supports the month-end and year-end closing processes by gathering necessary documentation and preparing journal entries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR an equivalent combination of education, training, experience, and certifications sufficient to achieve position expectations required (or local country equivalent education).
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Customer Service focused, developing relationships by listening and understanding the customer (both internal and external).
  • Anticipates and provides solutions and alternatives to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrates fluency in English.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Power BI or Tableau, Python or SQL, and AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making a plus.
  • Oracle experience preferred: FCCS, ARCS, Fusion
