About the role

  • Own and maintain all Paleovalley and Wild Pastures web properties, ensuring content is current, UX is seamless, and design reflects our brand and mission
  • Manage and optimize our custom-built, non-Shopify ecommerce experience using proprietary tools and internal systems
  • Maintain clear site architecture, intuitive navigation, and strong technical fundamentals (tag hygiene, performance, accessibility)
  • Analyze behavior, funnel performance, and conversion data to identify friction points and high-impact improvements across landing pages, PDPs, carts, and checkout flows
  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests with clear hypotheses, KPIs, and reporting
  • Develop and refine landing pages and PDP enhancements using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and internal tools
  • Use analytics and behavior tools (GA, Hotjar, heatmaps, session recordings, SEO platforms) to diagnose issues and prioritize tests
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership
  • Partner with marketing, design, development, and lifecycle teams to implement winning variations and new experiences
  • Help shape a digital experience that supports both rapid DTC growth and expanding retail presence
  • Stay current on CRO, personalization, DTC trends, and evolving search behaviors—including AI-driven discovery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on conversion rate optimization experience for DTC or ecommerce brands with proven performance wins
  • Experience working in custom or proprietary ecommerce systems (not just Shopify or plugin-driven ecosystems)
  • Proven ability to analyze user behavior and funnels to identify issues and design high-impact tests
  • Ability to wireframe and prototype experiments (Figma, Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize or similar)
  • Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; deeper development experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to make clear, evidence-based recommendations
  • Excellent collaboration, project management, and written communication skills.
Benefits
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage with 100% employer-paid dental/vision and a small monthly medical premium for employees; dependents may be added at employee cost
  • Generous Paid time off to support balance and rest
  • Paid sick time for when you need it
  • Six (6) paid holidays each year
  • Paid parental leave for growing families
  • 100% company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance
  • 401(k) with up to a 4% company match after one year of service
  • Monthly product stipend or access to perfectly imperfect damaged product so you can enjoy the nutrient-dense foods you help bring to others
