About the role
- The IT Support Specialist will provide technical assistance and desktop support to remote Palco employees across the US.
- This position is a hybrid role, requiring up to 3 days per week in our office in Maumelle, AR.
- Primary Responsibilities
- Own the Help Desk, providing front-line technical assistance to users via phone, email, or Teams
- Utilize Jira tickets to receive, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
- Communicate instructions and troubleshooting steps clearly and promptly
- Work with vendors on computer warranty repair claims
- Order, prepare, and ship equipment to new employees
- Research and resolve technical issues independently or in collaboration with other departments
- Stay current with software updates, system changes, and support procedures
- Develop and update technical training materials as needed
- Conduct IT onboarding training sessions for new employees.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and related software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Experience with Entra ID and using the Microsoft 365 Admin Center to perform tasks such as managing users and groups, license assignments, password resets, and monitoring service health.
- Education: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certifications are desired but not required.
