About the role
- Support monthly book closing and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Review quarterly and annual financial statements and highlight any issues or insights.
- Assist with quarterly investor updates and financial communications.
- Prepare budgets and help monitor spending throughout the year.
- Support tax-related tasks, including filing returns and sending annual 1099 forms to vendors.
- Manage annual insurance renewals and file insurance claims when needed.
- Assist with financial due diligence and underwriting for acquisitions.
- Provide support during deal closings and transaction processes.
- Experience with Rent Manager.
- Ability to automate or streamline financial tasks and workflows.
Requirements
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and workflows.
- Ability to analyze current processes and suggest improvements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines
