About the role

  • Support monthly book closing and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
  • Review quarterly and annual financial statements and highlight any issues or insights.
  • Assist with quarterly investor updates and financial communications.
  • Prepare budgets and help monitor spending throughout the year.
  • Support tax-related tasks, including filing returns and sending annual 1099 forms to vendors.
  • Manage annual insurance renewals and file insurance claims when needed.
  • Assist with financial due diligence and underwriting for acquisitions.
  • Provide support during deal closings and transaction processes.
  • Experience with Rent Manager.
  • Ability to automate or streamline financial tasks and workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.

  • Ability to analyze current processes and suggest improvements.
