About the role

  • Own and manage all social accounts (min. 1 post per day on all platforms except YouTube —2+/week).
  • Develop a multi-platform content strategy optimized for reach, engagement, retention, and conversions.
  • Self-generate agile content (raw, meme-style, trend-based or informal when needed) alongside professionally produced pieces.
  • Lead the creative team (photographer, cinematographer, graphic designer) to produce diverse content formats tailored to each platform.
  • Maintain a balanced mix of content: Memes & trend-driven creative content; Product demos, overviews, and displays; Reviews, unboxing, and hands-on demonstrations; Tutorials, guides, educational content on gaming tech; Gaming tips & strategy videos; Influencer collaborations & UGC integration; Interactive content (polls, questions, mini-games, etc.); Community Q&As and testimonials.
  • Ensure brand voice consistency, authenticity, and cultural relevance.
  • Respond to all public replies across social media promptly.
  • Lead Pwnage’s presence and engagement on Discord, Reddit, and gaming forums.
  • Organize creative community events, polls, challenges, tournaments, etc., to drive retention and loyalty.
  • Develop community programs to convert followers into advocates.
  • Identify and manage influencer partnerships; lead outreach for collabs and sponsored content.
  • Coordinate influencer campaigns around product launches or key brand moments.
  • Oversee affiliate program growth; recruit new affiliates and nurture relationships (1–3% lifetime earnings of affiliates you sign).
  • Produce or oversee SEO-optimized blog content for Pwnage.com and external sites.
  • Stream on the Pwnage Twitch account to engage community (15% commission + customer coupon code structure applies).
  • Build cross-platform strategies to maximize impact of each channel.
  • Ideate and execute social-first campaigns for new product launches, limited editions, collab drops, and brand initiatives.
  • Coordinate with marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and hype-building.
  • Provide regular reporting on KPIs, insights, and recommendations.

Requirements

  • A creative, trend-sensitive mind with strong intuition for gaming and internet culture.
  • Ability to work fast, independently, and with very little supervision—full ownership mindset.
  • Strong understanding of what drives engagement, virality, and brand affinity.
  • Excellent writing & communication skills in a youthful, authentic tone.
  • Experience managing social media for a consumer brand, ideally in gaming or tech.
  • Ability to coordinate with a creative team while also generating content yourself.
  • Strong organizational habits and ability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives.
