About the role

  • Provide independent legal advice, analyze and summarize complex matters, including commercial (risk) assessments and decision papers for the C-level and senior management of the PAIR Finance Group as well as other departments
  • Take responsibility for handling complex litigation and escalation cases (including regulatory complaints, industry association complaints, and lawsuits against the Group) and coordinate external litigation counsel
  • Draft, review and negotiate service, cooperation and IT agreements, taking into account intercompany structures
  • Support the expansion and internationalization of the PAIR Finance Group, including legal guidance on country-specific matters and advice on international contract structuring
  • Provide close legal support and act as a sparring partner for Corporate Development, Market and other internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the further development and digitization of legal processes and projects, with a particular focus on the use and advancement of AI solutions
  • Plan and deliver training and provide legal support for the product development of our technology

Requirements

  • Fully qualified lawyer with strong academic results, preferably with an additional qualification (LL.M.) in another jurisdiction and a background in commercial law
  • Broad legal expertise as a generalist, ideally with experience in IT law / intercompany law within a corporate environment or a large law firm
  • 3+ years of professional experience in civil law, civil procedure, competition law, IT law, data protection and consumer law
  • Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and in a practical manner
  • Additional language skills, especially French, Swedish, Dutch and/or Italian (nice-to-haves)
  • Motivation to actively shape and further develop legal-tech and AI solutions in the legal field
  • Experience delivering training in the legal domain
