About the role
- Advising clients on suitable funding programmes, especially in the R&D area
- Supporting the development of fundable project concepts together with clients
- Independently preparing, reviewing and submitting grant applications
- Preparing and validating project, cost and financial data
- Supporting operational finance tasks related to applications and submissions
- Ensuring complete and timely submissions
- Communicating with funding agencies and authorities, including handling follow-up requests
- Working closely with Sales and Scientific Consultants throughout the entire process
- Monitoring ongoing applications and documenting them in the CRM/system
- Contributing to the optimization of internal processes in the application and advisory area
Requirements
- Completed degree in economics, natural sciences or a related field
- Initial to several years of experience in funding/grants, application drafting, finance or consulting
- Structured, careful and independent working style
- Understanding of financial relationships and formal requirements
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in working with clients
- Very good German and English skills
