About the role

  • Advising clients on suitable funding programmes, especially in the R&D area
  • Supporting the development of fundable project concepts together with clients
  • Independently preparing, reviewing and submitting grant applications
  • Preparing and validating project, cost and financial data
  • Supporting operational finance tasks related to applications and submissions
  • Ensuring complete and timely submissions
  • Communicating with funding agencies and authorities, including handling follow-up requests
  • Working closely with Sales and Scientific Consultants throughout the entire process
  • Monitoring ongoing applications and documenting them in the CRM/system
  • Contributing to the optimization of internal processes in the application and advisory area

Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics, natural sciences or a related field
  • Initial to several years of experience in funding/grants, application drafting, finance or consulting
  • Structured, careful and independent working style
  • Understanding of financial relationships and formal requirements
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment in working with clients
  • Very good German and English skills
