About the role

  • You build robust services and develop intelligent interfaces to LLMs
  • You design and implement features based on Large Language Models and related NLP methods (e.g., RAG, vector databases, agent systems)
  • You develop performant, secure, and scalable services in Next.js (API-first)
  • You work closely with Product, Design, and Frontend to develop features
  • You bring clean engineering practices into a startup environment
  • You stay up to date with new AI approaches and integrate them hands‑on into the product

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing and operating modern web applications (Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript)
  • Initial or deeper experience working with LLMs, conversational AI, RAG pipelines, or frameworks like LangChain
  • Confident working with API design, databases (SQL/NoSQL/vector), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD
  • You find simple solutions to complex problems and build systems that scale
  • Team-player mentality: you enjoy working cross-functionally, are open to feedback, and are eager to take responsibility
  • Fluent in German and very good English
