About the role

  • Own the content lifecycle from concept to publication.
  • Engineer content at every stage of the product, evaluating book outlines, enhancing structure, and coaching authors.
  • Ensure each product is learner-friendly and insight-rich, creating optimal user-facing product information.
  • Contribute to non-book formats such as newsletters, conferences, and live workshops.
  • Track trends across software languages, frameworks, architecture practices, and GenAI-influenced workflows.
  • Own quality sign-off for every title and product you work on.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in editorial/content development for technical or instructional products.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into structured, reader-friendly content.
  • Strong author/SME management and feedback skills.
  • Excellent English-language proficiency and editorial judgment.
  • Quality assurance mindset; confident in making calls on readiness, rework, or cancellation.
  • Willingness to own and drive the success of content beyond editing — including book enhancements such as labs, visuals, walkthroughs and derived formats such as newsletters, research briefs, and live sessions, ensuring each product serves its users effectively.
