About the role
- Support Commercial Head in developing regional commercial strategies.
- Monitor countries’ commercial performance on regular basis.
- Drive agencies to work strategically on inbound/outbound business growth.
- Identify issues for underperforming countries and coaching by standardizing sales processes, setting proper KPIs.
- Identify new business opportunities for the OSRO countries, like new service proposals, according to market demand.
- Train and improve Agencies Sales capabilities of market intelligence analysis.
- Contribute to annual Commercial budget setting.
- Co-lead projects if any.
- Participate in industry events and conferences.
- Frequent visiting to agencies in the region.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Maritime or related discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant shipping experience.
- Highly numerate with good analytical thinking and quantitative skills.
- Self-driven with ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) & people management.
- Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership.
- Willing to Travel when required.
