About the role
- Lead the design and ongoing enhancement of the People risk management framework
- Develop and maintain the People risk register, controls documentation, and mitigation plans
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on People-related risk and compliance matters
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement using Lean principles
- Ensure potential risks are communicated to executive leadership and risk committee
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Risk and Insurance, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 10 or more years of experience in risk or compliance management, utility operations, or related field
- Experience leveraging PG&E Lean standards and continuous improvement principles
- Ability to lead large and complex projects working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to analyze business processes and recommend improvements
- Must have deep understanding of regulatory and compliance developments in the utility sector
