About the role

  • Responsible for supplier relationship management of critical system integration partners
  • Manages complex contracts and change order terms
  • Develops complex scorecards to assess contract performance
  • Independently facilitates vendor performance discussions
  • Negotiates major dispute settlements with internal stakeholders
  • Creates new approaches and tools to solve complex problems
  • Leads cross-functional projects or process improvement initiatives
  • Provides quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) oversight
  • Keeps track of program contracts and associated obligations
  • Conducts audits and inspections to verify compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Seven (7) years of direct experience in a similar role
  • Ability to navigate complex sourcing strategies and contract compliance
  • Experience managing sophisticated contracts to minimize value leakage
  • Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or related
  • Experience with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC)
  • Experience with process development, review, and continuous improvement
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, regulatory, and local laws impacting gas or electric operations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and contract information systems.
