About the role
- Proactively monitor and report out on contractual obligations and interact with and support contract counterparties, as well as stakeholders in other departments within PG&E
- Document agreed upon changes or amendments that may arise during the life of the interconnection contract
- Prepare regular compliance reports on contract administration and performance status of contractual obligations
- Identifies and communicates contractual issues to EGI Interconnection Managers and project execution teams prior to start of construction and ongoing throughout life of generating facility
- Communicates signed contracts to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness
- Works with EGI Interconnection Manager to resolve contractual issues associated with generation interconnections
- Manages contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of contract correspondence, contractual changes, executed contracts and other documentation for projects
- Works with EGI Interconnection Manager to ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal
- Provides support to Interconnection Manager in the preparation of project settlements
- Monitors financial security postings for interconnection projects
- Manages EGI’s obligations in the filing and reporting of executed contracts, including terminations and amendments, to the applicable regulatory agency
- Prepares ad-hoc reports on contracts as required by the CPUC or FERC or internal clients
- Generate monthly Health Report data from SAP or other systems
- Ensure all order numbers are correctly assigned to each project and charges are applied correctly
- Review and provide communications or documentation to the Accounting team to start billing for all executed agreements
- Prepare amendments and manage all agreements once the generating facilities achieve commercial operation
- Leads investigation required for dispute resolution on post-COD contracts
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or its equivalent in education and experience
- 1 year in any one or combination of the following: electric distribution, business planning, construction/project management, accounting, and/or finance
- Desired experience in contract management, quality assurance
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word)
