About the role
- Utilizes expert knowledge in Program Management to address various issues and assignments.
- May design and develop new programs within a broader framework of goals and initiatives.
- Manages all aspects of complex, cross-departmental programs that significantly affect the line of business.
- Provides standardized, regular, and custom ad-hoc reports for special projects.
- Plans and forecasts work to be completed as part of the program.
- Conducts trend analysis to identify cost drivers and develops and executes mitigation plans to enhance business results.
- Negotiates and establishes productivity and unit cost targets.
- Leads partner organizations in crafting and implementing enhanced processes, best practices, controls, and procedures to boost efficiencies, compliance, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.
- Represents the program as a subject matter expert and stakeholder on process improvement teams, regulatory filings, and various stakeholder groups.
- Develop communication and training plans. Ensures the target audience is fully informed about the program's purpose and the correct processes and requirements to follow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Seven years’ total related experience
- Experience managing capital expense budgets
- PMP Certification
- In-depth knowledge of electric utility processes, regulatory requirements, critical success factors, goals, and initiatives.
- Team leadership and collaboration skills.
- General financial management & budgeting skills and business acumen.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influence skills.
- Basic negotiation skills.
- Analytical problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Knowledge of project management, process improvement best practices, concepts, methods, and techniques
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong presentation skills.
- May need knowledge of various enterprise resource planning (ERP) system modules.
