About the role
- Responsible for handling assigned Pace Analytical Services Accounts and financial targets
- Maintains revenue from existing assigned accounts to reduce attrition
- Generates new revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders and providing technical information
- Assesses/qualifies inbound leads and potentially wins new business
- Develops sales opportunities by identifying potential accounts and building rapport
- Follows a robust standard operation procedure to log all customer interactions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field
- Two (2) years of professional experience in environmental services/laboratory operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Intermediate to complex principles, practices, and techniques of sales effectiveness
- Technical understanding of Pace's products and services
- Intermediate to complex methods to resolve sales and customer problems, questions, and concerns
