About the role

  • Responsible for the operational success of your FTTH rollout projects, from detailed planning through to supporting the commissioning of the passive network (NE3).
  • Technical oversight of construction supervision and coordination of suppliers and construction partners.
  • Communication with cities and municipalities, customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Planning and control of project-related budgets and material requirements as well as the performance delivery of construction companies.
  • Ensuring final (route) documentation and compliance with OXG Glasfasergesellschaft documentation standards.

Requirements

  • Knowledge in telecommunications engineering, including fiber optic deployment of FTTX networks and installation/modification of telecommunication systems and infrastructure.
  • Practical experience working with suppliers and service providers.
  • Completed university degree in telecommunications, communications engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification.
  • Ideally, initial professional experience in project management of complex projects.
  • Driving license class B (car).
  • Willingness to travel regionally (approx. 15–20%).
  • Experience with GIS systems is an advantage.
