About the role

  • The FPGA Engineering Placement Student will work in the Embedded Systems Department for 12 months.
  • You will gain experience in FPGA development (from concept through to manufacture) and have the opportunity to be involved in new product developments and learn about our customer applications.
  • You will be supported by other FPGA Engineers.

Requirements

  • Will have successfully completed the 2nd year of a BEng honours degree (or equivalent) or Masters in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering by June 2026
  • Have an understanding of basic concepts of electronic design- analogue and digital
  • Have experience working on an electronic design
  • Are available to start placement in September 2026
  • Are hungry to learn and innovate
  • Are excellent team players and communicators
  • Are eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges
