Engineering Manager

• Discover, evaluate, and implement new technology for all Owlet Baby Care Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Manage and mentor Android and iOS engineering direct reports to promptly deliver quality software applications for products using IoT devices.
• Review and manage software coding and architecture by Android and iOS engineers.
• Assess performance metrics for members of Android and iOS engineering teams.
• As needed, write advanced code for complex applications.
• Oversee proper use of test-driven software development, continuous build, and integration methodologies.
• Provide consistent, actionable, and transparent feedback during regular one-on-one meetings with all Mobile engineering team members.
• Provide Mobile engineers with support and guidance in accomplishing their career goal.
• May telecommute from any place in the United States
• Supervises one Staff iOS Engineer (15-1252.00)
