• We are looking for a results-driven Performance Marketing Strategist to lead and manage Owlet’s paid media efforts on a part-time contractor basis. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid campaigns across key digital channels: driving customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth. You will also serve as the primary liaison to our paid media/growth agency, ensuring strategy alignment, accountability, and performance against defined KPIs.
• You will report to the Sr. Director, Digital Marketing and collaborate closely with brand,, sales, and product teams to ensure paid efforts are integrated, insight-driven, and optimized for impact.
• PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• - Own and manage paid media strategy and execution across channels including paid social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), paid search (Google, Bing), display, and emerging platforms.
• - Serve as the primary point of contact for our paid media/growth agency, managing day-to-day communication, campaign briefs, performance reviews, and strategic alignment.
• - Hold the agency accountable to KPIs including ROAS, CPA, CAC, and revenue targets; identify gaps and ensure continuous optimization.
• - Develop and manage media plans, budgets, and forecasts; allocate spend effectively across channels to maximize return.
• - Build and maintain full-funnel paid strategies that support customer acquisition, product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and more.
• - Lead creative briefing and testing across paid channels; partner with brand and creative teams to develop high-performing ad assets.
• - Design and execute A/B testing programs across creative, audiences, bidding strategies, and landing pages to drive continuous improvement.
• - Analyze campaign performance across platforms and surface actionable insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• - Monitor competitive landscape and stay current on platform changes, algorithm updates, and emerging trends in paid media.
• - Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, sales, and product teams to ensure paid campaigns are coordinated and on-brand.

Performance Marketing Strategist – Part Time Contractor

• In this role, you will leverage AI tools and customer data to identify trends, manage follow-up activities, support action plans, and maintain SOPs across a broad range of customer and operational needs.
• By helping ensure issues are resolved efficiently and contributing to communication and collaboration across teams, you will play a key role in making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
• AI-Driven Root Cause Analysis: Leverage Zendesk analytics and other AI-driven platforms to track and report on key metrics, including ticket volume, contact drivers, and bot performance trends.
• Perform in-depth ticket research to pinpoint systemic technical issues, providing Engineering with documented evidence to prioritize bug fixes and feature updates.
• Strategic Internal Partnering: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Platform leads to advocate for customer needs based on support trends and friction points.
• Translate raw customer feedback into data-backed recommendations that directly inform technical roadmaps and product decisions.
• Review Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor customer reviews consistently across major platforms and channels, flagging trends and surfacing key themes to internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the research, tagging, and analysis of review data to identify recurring product, UX, or support issues that warrant action.
• International Support: Coordinate responses to distributor and internal Owlet stakeholders, ensuring timely and consistent communication across international partners.
• Work cross-functionally to support ongoing efforts to enhance the experience for Owlet parents across international markets.
• Process and Knowledge Improvement: Maintain a strong working knowledge of the Owlet ecosystem to serve as a technical resource for the broader team.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Managers to audit, refine, and maintain internal troubleshooting guides and public-facing help articles for accuracy and clarity.

Customer Operations Specialist

Controller

We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional with a proven track record in scaling high-growth, public companies. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional financial acumen and a passion for building and optimizing complex financial systems.
• Review journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adequate supporting documentation.
• Provide final approval for journal entries, demonstrating ownership and accountability.
• Oversee the preparation and review of account reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, timely resolution of discrepancies and proper documentation.
• Establish and enforce clear standards for account reconciliation procedures, promoting consistency and control.
• Ensure strict adherence to GAAP, providing guidance and interpretation of accounting standards to the accounting team.
• Play a pivotal role in the preparation and review of all SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.), ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of disclosure footnotes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SEC regulations.
• Support the tie-out process of financial statements and footnotes, including verification of supporting documentation.
• Support the external audit process, providing timely and accurate responses to auditor inquiries and requests.
• Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify development opportunities for team members.
