About the role
- Responsible for the accounting and closing process for all admin expenses for corporate cost centers, ensuring they meet financial closing and reporting requirements.
- Ensures all accounting transactions and financial results are properly recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP and other statutory reporting requirements.
- Serves a subject matter expert for one or more designated specialized areas, including Home Office accounting.
- Reviews/analyzes company financial results for administrative expenses.
- Prepares variance analyses to budget, prior year, and expectations.
- Assists with coordinating monthly and quarterly Home Office review meetings with members of management, providing detailed explanations and analysis of the period’s activity.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and year end reconciliations and audit-support schedules, and acts as liaison to internal and external auditors.
