About the role
- Full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting (AR, AP, GL, journal entries)
- Prepare and manage cash flow statements
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Execute wire transfers and manage banking transactions
- Act as the primary point of contact with banks and factoring companies
- Handle borrowing base reports, lender/factor reporting, and compliance
- Work directly with factoring companies (e.g., Hilldun or similar)
- Support ERP accounting processes (BlueCherry or similar apparel ERPs)
- Assist with financial negotiations related to cash flow and lending
Requirements
- Proven experience in the apparel or fashion industry
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (BlueCherry strongly preferred)
- Direct experience working with banks and factoring companies
- Strong understanding of cash flow, lender reporting, and reconciliations
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable owning the function end-to-end
- Background functioning as a Controller or CFO-level individual contributor (Nice to Have)
- Experience with factoring setups similar to Hilldun, CIT, Wells Fargo, Rosenthal, etc. (Nice to Have)
