Account Executive

• Serve as a strategic partner to executive stakeholders, guiding customers through adoption, expansion, and long-term success.
• Own commercial health across a portfolio of high-value accounts, driving renewals, upsells, and advocacy.
• Develop account plans and success frameworks that align with customer business objectives.
• Partner with Sales to identify and close revenue expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Translate customer feedback into actionable input for Product and Engineering.
• Forecast retention and growth metrics, providing visibility into customer health and pipeline.

Account Director

• Partner with Account Executives in early-stage meetings as the research expert, leading the methodology conversation and building trust with senior insights buyers.
• Run demos and discovery that show, credibly, how rigorous research gets done with AI moderation — and where Outset fits a buyer’s real workflow.
• Scope and shepherd pilots from kickoff to delivery, owning output quality to a standard that holds up in front of the buyer’s stakeholders.
• Tell the “future research state” story in a way that resonates with practitioners, not just procurement.
• Support proposals and RFP responses where methodological credibility is the deciding factor.
• Carry the voice of the research buyer back to product, sales, and marketing — and help the team speak more credibly to this audience.

Research Strategy Lead – Pre Sales

Sales Development Rep

• Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting (calls, emails, social channels) to source leads.
• Source qualified leads from industry conference lead lists, webinars, and other marketing activations.
• Attend industry conferences to network and generate new business along with the rest of the GTM team.
• Strategically identify and engage with decision-makers, tailoring outreach to address key business needs and pain points.
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Account Executives, ensuring seamless handoff of qualified leads.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation targets.
• Leverage CRM tools to track outreach activity, measure success, and identify areas for improvement.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, GTM, and product teams to refine messaging and share market feedback.

Sales Development Representative

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
• Build and maintain relationships with key enterprise stakeholders, including senior executives and decision-makers.
• Clearly articulate and demonstrate the value proposition of Outset’s AI-powered research platform.
• Collaborate closely with the founding team to refine sales processes, identify market opportunities, and drive strategic growth.
• Exceed revenue goals by identifying, nurturing, and closing enterprise opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with product and customer success teams to ensure customer alignment and satisfaction.
