About the role
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy
- Create, curate, and publish compelling, mission-driven content
- Manage and maintain Outright's social media channels day-to-day
- Lead social media strategy for campaigns and organizational priorities
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators
- Monitor trends in social media and identify opportunities for content
- Support donor and partner communications
- Collaborate with the Director of Communications and Marketing
- Work cross-functionally with program teams
- Manage relationships with external vendors
Requirements
- Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in social media strategy
- Demonstrated success developing and executing social media strategies
- Familiarity with HubSpot
- Strong hands-on experience managing organizational accounts across various social media platforms
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Experience using social media analytics tools
- Familiarity with graphic design tools
- Strong project management skills
- Deep commitment and passion for LGBTIQ advocacy
- Experience working with global and/or Global South organizations is a strong plus
