About the role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy
  • Create, curate, and publish compelling, mission-driven content
  • Manage and maintain Outright's social media channels day-to-day
  • Lead social media strategy for campaigns and organizational priorities
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators
  • Monitor trends in social media and identify opportunities for content
  • Support donor and partner communications
  • Collaborate with the Director of Communications and Marketing
  • Work cross-functionally with program teams
  • Manage relationships with external vendors

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in social media strategy
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing social media strategies
  • Familiarity with HubSpot
  • Strong hands-on experience managing organizational accounts across various social media platforms
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Experience using social media analytics tools
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools
  • Strong project management skills
  • Deep commitment and passion for LGBTIQ advocacy
  • Experience working with global and/or Global South organizations is a strong plus
