About the role

  • Resolve troubleshooting problems
  • Establish work breakdown structures
  • Support effective maintenance work and outages
  • Develop and maintain a culture of safety
  • Develop and implement a maintenance strategy that ensures the optimal functioning of all facility machinery and equipment
  • Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, including scheduling and prioritization of work to ensure minimal disruption to operations
  • Help establish and maintain budgets associated with maintenance, including but not limited to Maintenance contracts, maintenance spend, life cycle cost
  • Manage maintenance budgets and forecasts, including the procurement of supplies and equipment, while striving for cost-efficiency without compromising quality or safety
  • Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment
  • Liaise with external contractors and service providers, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standards and within agreed timeframes
  • Lead, train, and develop maintenance team members, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work, including costs, undertaken equipment, and inventory of supplies
  • Stay informed of the latest trends and technologies in maintenance management and apply best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Availability to respond to emergencies outside of standard working hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facility Management, or a related field
  • Advanced English level oral and written
  • Minimum 5 years as Maintenance Manager
  • Proven experienced in applying strategic thinking to guide maintenance operations, improve performance, and achieve long‑term goals
  • Relevant certifications in maintenance management or specific technical discipline are a plus
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as building infrastructure
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and systems
  • A commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
