About the role
- Forecasting how many invitations we need to hit clinic booking targets.
- Planning and scheduling multi‑channel invitation sends weeks in advance.
- Modelling population reach and invite capacity for new clinic locations.
- Maintaining recruitment and booking forecasts used across the organisation.
- Supporting targeted re‑contact campaigns to boost engagement.
- Optimising invitation timing, channel mix, and volumes to maximise bookings.
- Monitoring daily booking performance and adjusting plans in real time.
- Tracking invitation volumes across all channels and spotting gaps early.
- Identifying underperforming clinics and recommending rapid corrective actions.
- Updating invitation plans in response to pilots, partnerships, and new initiatives.
- Building, validating, and quality‑checking invitation data files.
- Managing secure file transfers and ensuring smooth processing with partners.
- Monitoring response rates and triggering follow‑up sends when needed.
- Automating repetitive workflows using Python, R, or SQL.
- Creating and maintaining scripts that streamline data and reporting processes.
- Documenting automated workflows and recommending tooling improvements.
- Leading weekly cross‑team invitation planning meetings.
- Working with analytics colleagues to feed performance insights into forecasts.
- Supporting planning for expansion into devolved administrations.
Requirements
- Experience using Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
- Proficient SQL skills and confidence working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or Omni.
- Background in demand forecasting, capacity planning, or campaign scheduling.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with a daily operational cadence.
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication, including leading cross‑team meetings.
- Exceptional attention to detail and rigorous data‑validation habits.
- Experience with geospatial analysis (e.g., PostGIS, GeoPandas, QGIS) would be helpful but not essential.
- Exposure to healthcare, clinical trials, or participant recruitment environments would be helpful but not essential.
- Understanding of behavioural science principles in communications would be helpful but not essential.
- Experience building automated pipelines or workflow tools would be helpful but not essential.
