About the role

  • Forecasting how many invitations we need to hit clinic booking targets.
  • Planning and scheduling multi‑channel invitation sends weeks in advance.
  • Modelling population reach and invite capacity for new clinic locations.
  • Maintaining recruitment and booking forecasts used across the organisation.
  • Supporting targeted re‑contact campaigns to boost engagement.
  • Optimising invitation timing, channel mix, and volumes to maximise bookings.
  • Monitoring daily booking performance and adjusting plans in real time.
  • Tracking invitation volumes across all channels and spotting gaps early.
  • Identifying underperforming clinics and recommending rapid corrective actions.
  • Updating invitation plans in response to pilots, partnerships, and new initiatives.
  • Building, validating, and quality‑checking invitation data files.
  • Managing secure file transfers and ensuring smooth processing with partners.
  • Monitoring response rates and triggering follow‑up sends when needed.
  • Automating repetitive workflows using Python, R, or SQL.
  • Creating and maintaining scripts that streamline data and reporting processes.
  • Documenting automated workflows and recommending tooling improvements.
  • Leading weekly cross‑team invitation planning meetings.
  • Working with analytics colleagues to feed performance insights into forecasts.
  • Supporting planning for expansion into devolved administrations.

Requirements

  • Experience using Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
  • Proficient SQL skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or Omni.
  • Background in demand forecasting, capacity planning, or campaign scheduling.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with a daily operational cadence.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication, including leading cross‑team meetings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and rigorous data‑validation habits.
  • Experience with geospatial analysis (e.g., PostGIS, GeoPandas, QGIS) would be helpful but not essential.
  • Exposure to healthcare, clinical trials, or participant recruitment environments would be helpful but not essential.
  • Understanding of behavioural science principles in communications would be helpful but not essential.
  • Experience building automated pipelines or workflow tools would be helpful but not essential.
