About the role
- Coordinate field orders for materials, tools and supplies, and participate in order processing if necessary.
- Assist with management of working inventory and year-end inventories.
- Participate in quality audits for products received and resolving quality issues with vendors.
- Load and unload trucks and forklifts in a safe manner and in accordance with all rules, procedures, and policies.
- Modify, build and repair tools and equipment, and repackage items as needed.
- Contribute to other related tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have previous related experience in a warehouse, distribution center, order fulfillment, inventory, or supply chain role
- Previous experience using Microsoft software such as Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and maintain certifications (forklift operation experience a plus but not required; company provides training)
- Must pass background check and MVR with a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds independently, and heavier weights up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to periodically work in extreme weather conditions.
