About the role
- Support the Senior Director of Sales and Education in evolving the education strategy and foundational training framework, owning key workstreams from build through execution.
- Develop and deliver retailer-specific education programming aligned to strategic priorities (LMS updates, trainings, video content, and requested deliverables).
- Own the creation and ongoing maintenance of core education content and selling tools (product knowledge, routines, and how to sell), with a focus on improving BA confidence and conversion.
- Build the LMS and lead day-to-day platform management and optimization, including curriculum setup, content organization, and ongoing platform updates.
- Host and deliver high-impact trainings for internal teams, retail partners, and field teams across virtual and in-person formats, as needed.
- Build and manage integrated education and events focus calendars, ensuring seamless planning and field readiness.
- Lead event workflow for key retailer moments, ensuring event readiness, consistent in-store execution, and an elevated customer experience.
- Develop event toolkits and collateral aligned to retailer guidelines and brand priorities (menus, signage, one-sheets, training decks), enabling consistent in-store execution across partners.
- Support event planning and execution by managing timelines, intake forms, and cross-functional coordination to ensure teams are equipped for each retailer moment.
- Strategize GWP and sampling/gratis planning by providing education and event-driven recommendations aligned to retailer and brand moments.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of education and event program management experience on the brand/HQ side, building scalable retail education and event programming that supports field initiatives and readiness.
- Direct experience working with Ulta and Nordstrom required, including training requirements, retailer requests, and partner-specific deliverables.
- Extensive retailer education and event programming expertise, with the ability to build scalable, partner-specific programs that drive performance and consistency.
- Be highly proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to work independently and drive programs that deliver polished, on-brand training assets and event materials.
- Proven strength in project, workflow, and timeline management, with a track record of driving initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Extensive experience working within LMS platforms, including curriculum build, content organization, lesson assignment, and platform optimization to support training completion and readiness.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and curriculum development, with the ability to create engaging, retention-driven training content across virtual and in-person formats.
- High proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel), with experience using project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Asana, Monday.com).
- Proven facilitation, presentation, and training delivery skills across both virtual and in-person formats.
- Ability to evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve education and event programming based on feedback and performance insights.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Creative/Marketing teams to develop education assets and event collateral (toolkits, signage, menus, decks).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral, written, non-verbal, intuitive, psychic et al)
