About the role

  • Lead, mentor, and grow the Solutions Engineering team to ensure technical know-how and sales skills.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Sales team to understand customer needs, showcase product capabilities, and tailor solutions.
  • Help design and shape custom solutions, bringing deep technical expertise to solve business problems.
  • Serve as the go-to technical expert for big opportunities and stay current on product updates, integrations, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure customer needs and feedback are prioritized and to influence the roadmap.
  • Improve the pre-sales process, documentation, demo strategies, and team workflows for scalability.
  • Advocate for the customer in product discussions to ensure solutions solve real problems and evolve from feedback.
  • Ensure smooth transition from pre- to post-sales and provide Customer Success and Implementation teams with necessary context.
  • Track key performance metrics like time to solution, win rates, and customer satisfaction; report to leadership.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development for the Solutions Engineering team.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of (7) years experience in Solutions Engineering – with at least 3 years experience managing a team.
  • A solid grasp of architecture and integrations, and a track record of building solutions that meet real customer needs.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities—you know how to motivate and support a high-performing technical team.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams to close complex deals and guide the technical conversation.
  • The ability to take technical concepts and turn them into clear business value for any audience.
  • Great analytical skills and a data-driven mindset when it comes to making decisions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—with both customers and colleagues.
