About the role
- Own and hit the ARR quota roll-up of your team including New Logo Acquisition and Upsells/Cross sell to existing book of business
- Manage a team of 4-5 AEs within the Strategic segment, responsible for the largest insurance organizations in the US
- Be an active member of the Strategic deal teams: overseeing that AEs are acting as the CEO of their territories, lead development, aligning on strategy, persona mapping, use case development, and executive alignment for six and seven figure opportunities.
- Advance and improve existing sales and forecasting processes
- Recruiting and hiring world class sales talent
- Culture champion: culture of consistent high performance through instrumentation and coaching of sales process
- Provide support on highly complex large strategic deals through cross functional collaboration and team selling
- Continue to iterate on the foundation of our high velocity Customer Engagement Process
- Reinforce MEDDIC sales playbook
- Orchestrate enablement and insurance vertical best practices for the entire sales team
- Create momentum through industry contacts to create upper funnel opportunity and executive alignment with prospects
- Partner closely with product and marketing to drive strategy
- Take smart bets: A/B test our sales plays and find opportunities to improve
Requirements
- 7+ years of first or second line leadership and people management experience in B2B managing complex, multi-year deal cycles.
- 10+ years of quota carrying sales experience in B2B SAAS
- 5+ years of experience selling high six and seven figure opportunities
- Sales experience in Tier 1 Enterprise Accounts, preferably selling to legacy industries (financial services, insurance, banking, etc)
- Experience coaching to sales methodology (MEDDIC)
- Experience using Salesforce
- Experience selling to insurance companies and/or the Salesforce ISV partner ecosystem
