About the role
- Responsible for a portfolio of loans to ensure insurance obligations are maintained
- Analyze property, liability, and regional perils to mitigate coverage limits
- Communicate with Borrower and Agent to bind adequate coverage
- Review insurance policy renewal information from borrowers/agents for compliance
- Remediate non-compliant insurance issues through correspondence
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers
- Monitor reports and deadlines to ensure work is completed on time
- Utilize Servicing System and software applications for insurance reviews
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate mortgage industry of insurance compliance processing and/or experience in Commercial Insurance selling, underwriting or claims
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines; sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and transactions simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities
- Ability to learn quickly and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions; Ability to adjust priorities in a changing environment
