About the role

Leading safe operations and team capability — Driving infield activities in line with SHES policies, coaching and developing site teams to maintain high competence and safety performance.
Delivering demand and operational excellence — Overseeing end-to-end demand fulfilment, monitoring DIFOT and tonnage performance, and conducting site reviews alongside Customer demand planning and forecasting.
Optimising assets and resources — Maximising utilisation, availability and security of assets, and managing capital planning for sustenance and replacements.
Building and developing high performing teams — Ensuring teams are motivated, skilled and trained, with succession and performance management processes are in place for key roles.
Driving customer and commercial outcomes — Managing Customer relationships through business review and development meetings, identifying business development opportunities, and overseeing bids, contracts, invoicing, compliance and budget controls.

5+ years’ operations management experience in a manufacturing/technical environment, leading small to medium work groups
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (frontline management postgraduate desirable)
Integrity and trust; courage and sound decision-making; resilience and flexibility; strong team orientation.
Forecasting, asset planning, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills across multisite portfolios.
