About the role
- Provides administrative support to division management and staff for various division wide projects
- Developing policies and procedures for projects or studies related to State Building Code program related issues
- Coordinating activities across the division to ensure communication and operations operate smoothly
- Assisting management with developing procedures systems and forms necessary for the delivery of services
Requirements
- Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data
- An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in developing positive and respectful working relationships with agency staff and diverse stakeholders
- Experience organizing information in preparation of necessary reports for executive management review
- Experience with applying processes, procedures, rules and regulations, and record retention
- Ability to implement and monitor short and long term agency goals
- Experience facilitating travel and travel reimbursement
- Familiarity with public meeting processes
- Preference may be given to candidates who are fluently bilingual in Spanish
